Maitake D-Fraction Forte contains a very powerful extract from the Maitake mushroom. This high quality extract is the original D fraction, discovered by Prof. Hiroaki Nanba's team.

Maitake (Grifola frondosa), also known as 'dancing mushroom', is an extremely nutritious mushroom and naturally rich in water soluble fibres, minerals (zinc, copper, potassium), vitamin D, B1, B2, B3, phospholipids (= cell coating components) and lots of amino acids.

The Maitake mushroom is especially praised for its unique and branched sugar chains: the beta-1,3-glucans and beta-1,6-glucans. Both beta-glucans contibute to a healthy immune system and have powerful antioxidant potential.
