Some patented production processes of the Nutrisan range!

 

Patented processes usually aim to increase the nutrient's absorption or to ensure the stability of a nutrient during preservation.

The ‘True Delivery Technology' process protects the probiotics in the ‘Probiotic Pearls' from stomach acid. This is very important since most probiotics strained from other products are destroyed in the stomach during digestion, limiting the effectiveness of a great product.

The ‘Neptune ocean extract' of Neptune Krill Oil is a cold extraction of krill, by which the natural structure of the krill oil and all other natural ingredients such as astaxanthin, phospholipids and a natural flavonoid are preserved. This patented manufacturing process allows a better absorption of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Even after encapsulation the natural antioxidants keep the oil very stable, resulting in a preservation period of at least 3 years.  

Another patented process is the 'Bio-Enhanced' formula for the product NutriLipon, ensuring the stability of the natural (R-form) alpha-lipoic acid as well as the absorption into the body. This natural isomer of alpha-lipoic acid is physiologically much more effective than the racemic mixture (50% R-form and 50% S-form (synthetic)). Bio-EnhancedTM R-alpha-lipoic acid is about 20 times better and 12 times faster absorbed into the body than regular R-alpha-lipoic acid. It is a powerful water and fat soluble antioxidant.

‘PhytosomeTM' is a patented process by which standardized herbal extracts are bound to phospholipids (more specifically to phosphatidylcholine) in a certain proportion. Pharmaco-kinetic studies have shown that the absorption of the phytosome extract is up to 4 or 5 times higher than an herbal extract in a free form with an equivalent dose. Nutrisan products subjected to this phytosome process are CurcuPhyt, GinkgoPhyt, HawthornPhyt and SilyPhyt.


The ‘Special Heating Process' of the product TeaVital is a special heating (> 70 ° -C) of the tea leaves shortly after harvest, to prevent enzymatic oxidation of EGCG. This guarantees a green tea with 710 mcg/ml EGCG, which has also been specified by the National Cancer Institute as the only tea with health effects.
