The pearl consists of three layers, a genuine technological breakthrough: True Delivery^TM Technology! 

Layer 1: neutral oil blend - The heart of the pearl consists of a paste of probiotics in oil, the oil mixture is composed of palm oil, glycerine and lecithin. Within this paste survival of the probiotics is at the utmost.

Layer 2: moisture absorbent encapsulation of gelatine and pectin - The beneficial bacteria feel only at ease in an environment that is poor in oxygen. When exposed to oxygen from the air, these bacteria are weakened and die. That is why the bacterial paste from Probiotic Pearls® Forte is encased within gelatine and pectin.

Layer 3: acid-resistant coating - Many probiotics are destroyed during gastric transit. This is different with Probiotic Pearls® Forte since the outer layer of the pearl resists to acid juices.
