The national code number (CNK) is assigned to all food supplements and is intended to give a single identification to all products available in pharmacies. This makes it possible to exchange data between wholesalers, pharmacies and patients in a computerised way. With this code your pharmacist will find the desired product in the computer system. This coding is done in close cooperation with the relevant government services.

Every food supplement containing nutrients, plants (extracts) and/or other substances must be notified to the government (Federal government agency of Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment). With this notification, the authorities carry out various conformity tests, including a check of the composition and function. All Nutrisan supplements comply with the legislation and have been assigned a NUT number.
